Prince Harry and Meghan are reportedly planning to move from their home in the United States back to a private residence outside London, with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, expected to begin school in the UK in September. This decision follows a recent visit to the UK in July by the family to see King Charles III at his Highgrove home in Gloucestershire.

This visit marked the first time King Charles had seen his grandchildren in person in over four years, and it was the couple's first joint visit to the United Kingdom since 2022. According to the BBC, the King was not informed of the planned move until shortly before it became public knowledge last weekend. However, he reportedly welcomes the prospect of spending more private time with the Sussex family.

There are no indications that Prince Harry or Meghan intend to resume their former roles as working members of the royal family. The duke is also slated to learn this Friday how much he, along with other high-profile plaintiffs, will be required to pay in legal costs to the publisher of the Daily Mail. This follows a legal challenge initiated by a group including Prince Harry, Sir Elton John, Baroness Doreen Lawrence, and Elizabeth Hurley, who sued Associated Newspapers Limited over allegations of unlawful information gathering. Their claims were dismissed last month.

Reports have emerged suggesting that Meghan has received an offer for an acting role in the UK, a claim that sources close to the couple have not denied.
