Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Visit Nottingham, Share Insights on Children's Hobbies

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited Nottingham, engaging in a series of public engagements that included interactions with youth charities and a reunion with individuals connected to the Grenfell Tower tragedy. During their visit, Prince Harry shared anecdotes about his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

While visiting the youth charity Epic Partners, Harry was observed affectionately stroking Meghan's hair. The couple participated in activities such as decorating cupcakes and touring the facility, which offers sports mentorship to children. It was during this visit that Harry revealed his son Archie "hates math" at his new school, using the American term for the subject. He recounted that Archie had inquired about attending a school that "doesn't do math.".

Meghan shared that their daughter, Lilibet, "loves gymnastics." This insight came during a conversation with a young participant at Epic Partners who mentioned enjoying gymnastics. Meghan responded by noting that Lilibet also participates in the activity. She also spoke about her own enjoyment of cooking and spending time with her family.

The visit marked a return to Nottingham for the couple, who had previously visited the city for their first joint public engagement shortly after announcing their engagement nearly a decade prior. They were greeted by well-wishers, including Irene Hardman, a 90-year-old fan who had met them during their 2017 visit. Hardman presented Meghan with a framed photograph from that earlier encounter.

Beyond their work with Epic Partners, the Duke and Duchess also visited Himmah Hub, a charity addressing food poverty. Here, they reunited with four women who had provided meals for families affected by the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017. Meghan has maintained a connection with these women, inspired by their efforts which led to a community cookbook championed by the Duchess.

The couple's public engagements coincided with King Charles's official engagement in Wales. The Sussexes have been navigating discussions regarding their status, with the King's office having previously described them as "private citizens." Their children have reportedly changed schools due to security concerns.

Meghan, who is reportedly planning to launch her lifestyle brand As Ever in the UK by the end of the year, attended the engagements in a coat and skirt from British designers. Prince Harry's focus remains on his philanthropic work, particularly the Invictus Games, while Meghan is concentrating on her family, business ventures, and a potential return to acting.
