Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen enjoying a meal together at The Falkland Arms pub in the Cotswolds, England. This marks the first time the couple has been photographed publicly since their recent return to the UK.

During their outing, Harry wore a Santa Barbara fire department baseball cap, a reference to their home in Montecito, California. Markle wore a navy blue coat and black boots, while Harry sported a navy blue jacket and jeans.

Inside the historic pub, which dates back to the 16th century, Markle ordered gluten-free beer-battered haddock and chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce. Prince Harry chose a chicken, ham, and leek pie served with seasonal greens, creamy mashed potatoes, and gravy.

A source at the pub told The Sun that the couple was treated like any other customer. "Everyone here gets the royal treatment — it doesn’t matter who you are," the insider stated. "We’re lucky to get lots of different people visiting us, and everyone is treated like a local. When they visited, Harry and Meghan just acted like locals."

The couple's return to the UK has been accompanied by concerns regarding their children's security. Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, reportedly left a preparatory school after only two days due to security issues related to their travel. Further security concerns arose when Markle's personal phone number was allegedly leaked after she joined a parents' WhatsApp group for the school.

A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex described the paparazzi's actions near the school as "extraordinarily reckless" and expressed concern over photographers monitoring the children. "There is a world of difference between legitimate media activity and photographers walking the perimeter of a school, stopping to look into the grounds and monitoring children as they go about their day," the spokesperson told Page Six.

Earlier in the week, Prince Harry mentioned in an interview with CTV that his children are "happy in school" and stated, "It’s been great to be back on British soil."
