Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning an extended return to the United Kingdom this month, marking their first long-term stay in Britain since their departure six years ago, an event that was dubbed 'Megxit.' Their children, Archie and Lilibet, are reportedly set to enroll in a British school.
This reported homecoming comes amidst ongoing rifts between Prince Harry, his father King Charles, and his brother, Prince William. Royal author Phil Dampier, who authored "Royally Suited: Harry And Meghan in their own words," suggested that a past promise between the brothers to set aside differences in honor of their late mother, Princess Diana, is now broken. Dampier told the Daily Mail that while William and Harry had previously put aside their differences for the unveiling of Princess Diana's statue, their relationship has significantly deteriorated since then.
The Daily Mail is currently polling readers on whether the royals should welcome Prince Harry back to the UK. In a previous poll, readers largely indicated skepticism about a pledge made by Andy Burnham to end rough sleeping by Christmas, with 97 percent of over 6,269 voters responding negatively.
