Prince George has commenced his education at Eton College, the esteemed boarding school situated near Windsor Castle. The 13-year-old future monarch will reside at the institution, following a tradition established by his father, Prince William, the Prince of Wales, who also attended Eton.

Eton College, known for its selective admissions and historical ties to British aristocracy, provides each student with a private single room. According to the Good Schools Guide, while some students adapt quickly to boarding life, others may require time to settle in. Melanie Sanderson, the guide's managing editor, described Eton as a school with "spectacular facilities and spacious grounds" that blends its "ancient buildings" with a "modern school with a progressive outlook."

Sanderson noted that for most 13-year-old boys, the future is uncertain. However, Prince George's path is distinctive, and his parents selected Eton as the best preparation for his role as a "modern working royal."
