Prince Andrew's Legal Challenge Over Search Warrants in Epstein Case

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is pursuing legal action against Thames Valley Police concerning search warrants that were issued in relation to his arrest in February. His legal team is challenging the warrants that were used at properties in Sandringham and Windsor.

Thames Valley Police confirmed that they are involved in ongoing legal proceedings regarding warrants previously obtained from the Central Criminal Court. A spokesperson for the force stated that commenting further would be inappropriate due to the ongoing nature of the legal proceedings.

Mountbatten-Windsor, who has had his royal titles revoked due to his associations with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, is reportedly seeking a judicial review to question the legality of the search warrants. Police were observed conducting searches at his properties for several days following his arrest.

The arrest occurred on his 66th birthday and led to him being taken to Aylsham police station. He was later released under investigation. A photograph captured him appearing exhausted as he departed the station later that day. Thames Valley Police has indicated that their investigation is continuing.

Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently denied any wrongdoing in his connections with Epstein. The information that led to the warrants emerged from the Epstein files in the United States.
