Prime Video’s new coming-of-age series, "Sterling Point," helmed by Megan Park, centers on 17-year-old twins Annie and Connor Jacobson, portrayed by Ella Rubin and Keen Ruffalo, respectively. The series follows the twins as they discover secrets about their family and an island they have inherited.

The story unfolds in Sterling Point, a Canadian island where the twins, who have lived their entire lives in New York City with their adoptive father, Steven Jacobson (Jay Duplass), uncover a lineage they never knew existed. Annie, portrayed by Rubin, is an ambitious 17-year-old whose life takes an unexpected turn after being rejected from a prestigious summer program. Her discovery of Sterling Point and a previously unknown family history offers a new outlook.

Rubin, 24, brings previous acting experience from projects like "The Idea of You," "Anora," and "Fear Street: Prom Queen," as well as television appearances on "Billions," "The Chair," and "Masters of the Air."

Keen Ruffalo, 25, plays Annie's twin brother, Connor. Despite a seemingly nonchalant persona, Connor eventually joins Annie on Sterling Point, though he struggles to connect with the island and their family ties. Ruffalo is also known for his work with his father, Mark Ruffalo, on "Hal & Harper" and "Task," and most recently appeared in "Nimrods."

Jay Duplass stars as Steven Jacobson, the twins' loving adoptive father who raised them as a single parent in New York City following the death of their adoptive mother, Goldie. Steven's reluctance to share information about the twins' grandfather and their inheritance of Sterling Point prompts Annie to question her upbringing.

Supporting cast members include Amélie Hoeferle as Ramona Campbell, a teenager whose resemblance to Annie's adoptive mother raises questions. Hoeferle's credits include "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" and "Night Swim."

Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie plays Ellis Anderson, a local resident who is drawn to Annie. Whiteduck-Lavoie was previously in the Canadian series "First Line." Jeffrey Dean Morgan appears as Joe Anderson, Ellis' father and the marina manager, whose connection to Goldie may be significant. Morgan is widely recognized for his roles in "The Walking Dead" and "Grey's Anatomy."

Daniel Quinn-Toye portrays Rory, a childhood friend of Annie's from New York City who spends his summers on Sterling Point. Bo Bragason plays Oona, a young woman navigating responsibility while exploring romantic connections on the island. Bragason is slated to appear in Nintendo's live-action "Legend of Zelda" movie.

Nikko Angelo Hinayo plays Sully, a friend to Oona and others on the island, while Mabel Strachan plays Maple, Oona's younger, wise sister. Missi Pyle is cast as Denise, Rory's mother, who expresses interest in purchasing Sterling Point. Pyle is known for her roles in "Josie and the Pussycats" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers plays Kate, Joe Anderson's wife and Ellis' mother, whose ability to handle emerging revelations about Joe's past is tested. Tailfeathers recently appeared in Netflix's "The Abandons."

"Sterling Point" is an eight-episode season now available for streaming on Prime Video.
