Spectacular Smith, a member of the R&B group Pretty Ricky, is facing a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault and filming the alleged encounter without consent. The lawsuit was filed last month in Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona by Alexis Dieng.

According to the complaint, Smith, 40, initially contacted Dieng via Instagram in October 2025, seeking restaurant recommendations in Arizona. Dieng claims Smith cultivated her trust and arranged to meet during a trip to the state. The lawsuit states that Smith changed the meeting location to a residential address in Phoenix, where the alleged assault occurred around 10:30 p.m. on October 24, 2025.

Dieng alleges that Smith engaged in sexual intercourse with her without her consent and applied pressure to her neck, restricting her breathing. The lawsuit also states that, upon information and belief, the alleged incident was filmed without her permission.

The Phoenix Police Department was reportedly notified of the events. A forensic examination conducted on October 25, 2025, at the city's Family Advocacy Center documented tenderness and redness in Dieng's vaginal area, as well as an indentation on the right side of her neck. Dieng claims she has required continuous medical and psychological treatment as a result of the alleged incident.

Dieng is suing Smith for assault, battery, and sexual assault, seeking punitive damages and a jury trial. Her attorney, Benjamin Taylor, stated, "We plan to seek justice for our client."

Smith achieved fame with Pretty Ricky, known for hits like "Grind With Me" and "Your Body." In 2016, Forbes reported that Smith had shifted his career focus to become a social media guru, founding Adwizar, a company that manages social media accounts for various artists.
