Presley Gerber, son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27. His death occurred at a rehabilitation facility on Sunday, according to records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
The cause of death has not been publicly disclosed. A representative for the family stated, "The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time."
Gerber, who followed in his mother's footsteps as a model, made his runway debut at 16 for the Italian label Moschino. He later modeled for notable brands such as Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, and Bottega Veneta.
His father, Rande Gerber, is known as a businessman and co-founder of the Casamigos tequila brand. In recent years, Presley Gerber had spoken publicly about his struggles with mental health, depression, and drug use. In a 2023 podcast interview, he expressed a desire to help others facing similar challenges, stating, "I think that whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that's all I need to do."
His sister, Kaia Gerber, recently discussed her brother's struggles with addiction in American Vogue, noting how such family challenges can affect everyone.
