Presley Gerber, Son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Dies at 27

Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27. His death was confirmed by a representative for Crawford to Fox News Digital, who shared a statement from the family requesting privacy.

According to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records, Gerber died Sunday at a rehabilitation facility. An autopsy has yet to be completed.

Presley Gerber was the only son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, and the older brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber. He had previously spoken publicly about his struggles with mental health and drug use on social media and in interviews.

In an August 2026 Vogue cover story, Kaia Gerber discussed her brother's mental health journey, which Vogue described as a "decade-long struggle with drug addiction." Kaia told the outlet that her brother's openness had a profound impact on the family, stating, "When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone."

In December 2025, Presley shared an Instagram video, later deleted, detailing his use of medications like Xanax, Valium, and buprenorphine while experiencing panic attacks. He expressed a desire to connect with others facing similar challenges, stating, "I have a feeling that if I saw all of this, a lot of people will at least know that there’s someone else going through it."

Gerber also appeared on a podcast in February 2023, where he discussed his struggles with mental health and depression. He stated that if he could help even one person through his experiences, it would be meaningful.

In 2019, Presley was charged with driving under the influence.

He began his modeling career at age 15, signing with IMG Models. Gerber made his runway debut at Moschino's show in Los Angeles in 2016 and subsequently walked for other major designers. He also appeared in campaigns for brands such as Calvin Klein and Celine.
