Presley Gerber, son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, shared his struggles with mental health in a social media post approximately one year before his death. In November 2025, Gerber posted on Instagram after a period of absence, stating, "It’s been a minute since I’ve posted. I had to step back and take care of my own mental health for a bit. But I’m coming back soon — stronger, clearer, more intentional than ever."

Gerber also elaborated on his "Mental Health Mondays" initiative, which he described as a platform to "spark real conversations about the stuff most people hide." He expressed pride in the movement's reach and its ability to inspire openness and healing, noting the particular relevance of his efforts during November, which is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.

In the months prior to his passing, Gerber had been open about his challenges with substance abuse and mental well-being. In March 2026, he shared his experience with an ibogaine flood dose treatment at a wellness clinic in Mexico, intended to alleviate acute drug withdrawal symptoms. At the time, he wrote on Instagram, "I faced what I had been running from, and somewhere in all of it, I started finding my way back to myself 🤍…. We shall see…. Praying it’s the last time I have to come back."

Presley Gerber died on Sunday at the age of 27. His cause of death has not yet been publicly disclosed. His final Instagram post, shared in August 2026, featured him promoting athletic wear and enjoying the outdoors.
