Presley Gerber's Exes Share Tributes Following His Death at 27
Former girlfriends remember the model and entrepreneur as compassionate and honest after his suspected overdose.
Presley Gerber, son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27 from a suspected overdose. His ex-girlfriend Cameron Rorrison shared a heartfelt tribute, remembering him as 'an angel in this life.'
Rorrison, a fashion and swimwear model who dated Presley from May 2018 to March 2020, stated that finding the words to describe him was difficult but wanted him remembered for his "wide open heart, his inspiring compassion, and incredible understanding." She highlighted his humanity and his unique ability to make everyone feel "brilliant and important." Rorrison concluded, "He was an angel in this life and will be in the next."
Other former partners also shared their memories. Charlotte D'Alessio, a model and influencer who dated Presley from around 2018 to 2020, recalled their "pure love" and expressed anger over his death, stating, "You deserved more time. You deserved more life."
Lexi Wood, who had a relationship with Presley in 2022, described him as "one of the kindest, most open, loving and courageous people." She added that friendship was always at the core of their relationship.
Presley died on September 20 at a luxury rehab facility in Santa Monica, California. He had checked himself into Resolutions Living on September 19. Emergency services were dispatched after a 911 call reporting a cardiac arrest and suspected overdose. Officers pronounced him dead at the scene shortly after.
The Santa Monica Police Department has confirmed that detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose, with no indication of foul play. The official cause and manner of death are pending results from the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
Sources have indicated that Presley had been prescribed ketamine by a doctor, despite past difficulties with the drug. Friends reportedly expressed anger over this, according to TMZ.
Presley, who had openly discussed his struggles with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and addiction, stepped back from modeling around 2019 to focus on business and personal matters. He had hosted an Instagram series discussing his personal experiences in an effort to help others and appeared at a panel discussion on mental health in June, which was to be his last public appearance.
Earlier in the year, he posted about undergoing a "Pre-ibogaine flood dose" treatment at a clinic in Mexico. His parents and sister, Kaia Gerber, praised his courage in sharing his journey toward recovery. His sister had also spoken to Vogue about his decade-long struggles and his transparency, stating, "my brother, who says, 'I'm gonna be very human for everyone.'"
Presley has been cremated, and his parents are expected to keep his ashes at their Malibu home. Funeral arrangements are reportedly being planned for a small service.
