Presley Gerber's Ex-Girlfriend Shares Emotional Tribute After His Death at 27

Model Charlotte D'Alessio, the ex-girlfriend of the late Presley Gerber, shared an emotional tribute following his death at age 27. D'Alessio, 28, posted a series of intimate photos of the pair on social media, stating they shared a "pure love" and expressed anger over his passing.

Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, died on Sunday at a rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles. His death is currently being investigated as a suspected overdose.

D'Alessio reflected on their relationship, which reportedly lasted about two years from 2018, sharing photos and videos of their time together. In one post, she wrote, "Shared a pure love with you & for that I thank & honor your life. You deserved more time. You deserved more life. Very angry ab this."

Another black and white photo showed the couple embracing, with D'Alessio writing, "Love you Pres. always. Up there, down here. don't ever doubt that. we all love you so much. I hope you can feel it."

Photos included intimate moments, a picture from a costume party with prop guns, and Presley lounging with a dog. D'Alessio also shared a video of Presley walking toward the ocean, accompanied by the caption, "I will always remember you this way."

The couple reportedly met through Presley's sister, Kaia Gerber, in December 2017. Presley had also been linked to reality TV star Lexi Wood and model Cayley King.

On Sunday, it was announced that Presley died following a years-long struggle with drugs, panic attacks, and mental health issues. A spokesperson for the Santa Monica Police Department confirmed that officers responded to a report of a possible overdose at a luxury rehab facility. Detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose, with no indication of foul play at this time.

According to dispatch recordings, emergency services were called to the facility around 9:35 a.m. on Sunday for a "cardiac arrest." The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office has not yet determined the official cause of death, though an autopsy was completed.

TMZ reported that Gerber had been staying in a separate house on the rehab facility grounds and had roommates. It was also claimed that he had checked into the facility just hours before his death.

Presley had been open about his struggles, previously posting about undergoing a "Pre-ibogaine flood dose" at a treatment clinic in Mexico. His parents and sister had praised his "courage" for sharing his journey.

Ibogaine, derived from an African shrub, is used in some specialized clinics to help with withdrawal symptoms. While classified as a Schedule I controlled substance in the U.S., it is legal or permitted by prescription in countries like Canada and Brazil.

In November of the previous year, Presley announced he was taking a break from social media to focus on his mental health. He later shared candid videos on Instagram, discussing his "Mental Health Mondays" and the medication he took for "night terrors" and "panic attacks."

He spoke openly about his struggles, mentioning that he had seen numerous psychiatrists and felt a lack of direction regarding his medication. He described experiencing "really, really bad" panic attacks and admitted to uncertainty about his medication dosages.

His sister, Kaia Gerber, recently spoke about the significant impact her brother's struggles had on their family, describing it as having "leveled everyone." She also mentioned casting herself as the "easy" child to avoid adding further burden to their parents.

Presley, who began modeling at age 15 and appeared in campaigns for brands like Dolce & Gabbana and Calvin Klein, had also struggled with mental health from a young age. He was arrested for driving under the influence in 2019.

Despite his personal battles, Presley expressed a hope that his experiences might help others. "Having struggled with mental health, depression and some other things that come along with that, I think that whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that's all I need to do," he said in a podcast interview.
