Presley Gerber's Ex-Girlfriend Lexi Wood Remembers Him as 'Brave' and 'Loving'

Presley Gerber’s ex-girlfriend Lexi Wood has shared a touching tribute to the late model, calling him “brave” and “loving” after his tragic death at the age of 27.
“It’s hard to put into words what it means to lose someone who was such a meaningful part of my life for so many years,” Wood, a star of “Summer House,” wrote on Instagram Tuesday. She shared a series of photos of herself with Gerber, her former boyfriend.
“Through every chapter and every version of our relationship, friendship was always at the core of it,” Wood continued. “Everyone who loved Presley and was loved by him knows he was one of the kindest, most open, loving and courageous people.”
Wood described Gerber, the son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, as someone who was “loved so deeply” and “purely,” and called him “incredibly romantic and thoughtful.” She added that he was “incredibly resilient” and had “fought so hard for his life.”
“He was brave enough to be open about that fight,” she wrote. “More than anything, he wanted to use his story to help other people, and he did.” Wood also expressed gratitude for the years of friendship she shared with Presley, stating, “So many memories and so much love with him. He will always hold such a special place in my heart, and we will all miss him forever.”
Presley and Wood were friends before they briefly dated in 2022. He had captioned a November 2022 photo of them, “Guys I did it. I found the person that makes me the happiest I have ever been.” The following month, reports emerged that the couple had ended their relationship, with E! News citing that they realized their romance was not “long-term.”
Presley Gerber died on Sunday at a rehab facility in Santa Monica, California. A 911 dispatch call obtained by Page Six indicated that paramedics responded to a call concerning “cardiac arrest” and “overdose.” An insider also told Page Six that Gerber had checked himself into rehab over the weekend, stating, “he knew he needed help.”
A source familiar with the situation stated that Presley was “struggling with a lot of things” and desperately “wanted to be free of his addictions.”
His family, including mother Cindy Crawford, father Rande Gerber, and sister Kaia Gerber, released a joint statement asking for privacy during their time of grief.
