PragerU CEO Marissa Streit has voiced concerns over teacher training materials that she asserts target parental authority as oppressive and promote concepts derived from ethnic studies. Streit shared an image of a training book during a Fox News appearance, suggesting it represents a broader trend in educational practices.

Streit's remarks come amidst a period of heightened scrutiny over curriculum content in American schools. The Fox News Campus Radicals newsletter highlighted several incidents, including a report of a Washington mother withdrawing her children after a Pride lesson was shown in music class without prior notification. The newsletter also noted a U.S. Department of Education probe into a school district after a teacher allegedly required same-sex students to kiss.

Additionally, the newsletter mentioned a Kansas teacher's stance on continuing to use students' preferred pronouns despite a federal investigation into the district. Another incident involved an employee in a Washington school district reportedly making a celebratory remark about the death of Charlie Kirk.

Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was the subject of an incident in September 2025 when he was reportedly shot while speaking at Utah Valley University. The newsletter cited a heated exchange on Piers Morgan's show where an Ivy League student refused to work with a Jewish person, an exchange described as "brazenly antisemitic."

The newsletter also raised concerns about funding for institutions like Harvard University, with Senator Tom Cotton demanding an investigation into foreign contributions, particularly from China.
