The Powerball jackpot is now estimated at $975 million, following a drawing Monday night where no ticket matched all the winning numbers. This prize is the largest of the year and the eighth-largest in the game's history.

The estimated cash value for Wednesday's drawing is $422.3 million. The current jackpot is the largest since a $1.817 billion prize in December.

Monday night's winning numbers were 6, 54, 55, 64, with a red Powerball of 10 and a 3X Power Play. While no one secured the grand prize, there was one Match 5 plus Power Play winner of $2 million in Tennessee. Additionally, California and Maryland each had a winner of $1 million for matching 5 numbers.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 11 p.m. ET. The odds of winning the jackpot are one in 292.2 million. A standard ticket costs $2, with an optional $1 Power Play add-on that can multiply non-jackpot winnings.

Players in some states also have the option to add Double Play for an additional $1, providing a second chance to win up to $10 million.

Powerball is played in 45 states, as well as in Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Non-U.S. citizens and residents are also eligible to play.
