Porsha Williams, star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has secured a favorable divorce settlement from her estranged husband, Simon Guobadia. The agreement, finalized with a judge's approval, grants Williams sole ownership of their $7 million Atlanta mansion and a financial payout of over $1.5 million. Guobadia transferred his interest in the 15,284-square-foot home to Williams via a quitclaim deed, allowing her the authority to sell or refinance the property without his consent.

In addition to the marital home, court documents indicate Williams will receive $1,568,181.63 as reimbursement for Guobadia's share of the equity in their home. She also retains title to a 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost. The couple, who married in January 2023, separated in February 2024 after 15 months of marriage. Williams and Guobadia have no children together, though Williams has a daughter from a previous relationship, and Guobadia has five children from prior relationships.

Following the settlement announcement, Guobadia took to Instagram Stories to suggest he had the last laugh. The 62-year-old petroleum executive claimed he walked away from the divorce settlement "debt-free," stating in a post, "They forgot to mention they also inherited $8,000,000 in debt & still got to pay me." He further asserted, "Being debt-free is my flex," accompanying his remarks with videos of himself celebrating in a nightclub.

Williams, 45, has previously spoken about her personal growth and approach to relationships. In June 2025, she admitted to People magazine that her tumultuous split from Guobadia had prompted introspection. She reflected on past struggles with abuse and a tendency to seek validation through the eyes of men and reality television viewers, stating, "I used to only see myself through men's eyes, and that's why I went through a lot of abuse with men in my twenties." Williams has since expressed a commitment to her own confidence and financial independence.

Williams publicly revealed her new relationship with girlfriend Patrice "Sway" McKinney in November 2025, having reconnected with the salon suite entrepreneur whom she initially met via Instagram in 2018. She has described her healing process as "dry—on every level of being dry" but necessary for her self-discovery.
