Popstars' Hear'Say and Liberty X Announce 25th Anniversary Arena Tour

Hear'Say and Liberty X, two iconic groups formed on the 2001 television talent show Popstars, are set to embark on a joint arena tour in 2027, marking 25 years since their rise to fame.

The tour will feature 13 dates across various UK and Irish cities, including Dublin, London, Manchester, and Leeds. The Hear'Say reunion will include four original members: Danny Foster, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, and Noel Sullivan. Liberty X will return with their complete original lineup: Michelle Heaton, Jessica Taylor, Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, and Kelli Young.

Hear'Say emerged as the winners of Popstars, while Liberty X were the runners-up. Myleene Klass, a prominent member of Hear'Say, has confirmed she will not be participating in the reunion tour due to her busy schedule.

Careers Since Popstars

Since their time on Popstars, the members have pursued diverse paths. Myleene Klass has achieved significant success as a television and radio presenter, with her career including hosting shows like 'The One Show' and winning 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' twice. She was also awarded an MBE in the 2025 New Year Honours list for her contributions to women's health and miscarriage awareness.

Danny Foster, who trained as a youth worker before Popstars, later appeared on 'The Voice' in 2013. He has since focused on meditation and yoga, founding a personal development platform called Love Includes You.

Suzanne Shaw experienced struggles with alcohol and sleeping pills after Hear'Say's split but went on to perform in West End musicals and won 'Dancing on Ice' in 2008. She has since had roles in 'Emmerdale' and is now a grandmother.

Noel Sullivan, who worked as a waiter before joining Hear'Say, has had a successful career in musical theatre, starring in productions such as 'School of Rock' and making a cameo appearance in 'Gavin and Stacey'. He publicly came out in 2017 and is now married to his husband.

Kym Marsh's time in Hear'Say was marked by her departure from the group after feeling betrayed by her bandmates. She later transitioned to acting, most notably playing Michelle Connor in 'Coronation Street' for 13 years. She has also appeared on 'Strictly Come Dancing' and 'Morning Live'. Marsh is currently engaged for the sixth time.

Liberty X, despite being runners-up, achieved considerable chart success with ten consecutive UK top 20 singles. Michelle Heaton has spoken about her struggles with fat-shaming during the group's peak and has since appeared on various reality television shows, including 'Celebrity Big Brother' and 'Dancing on Ice'. She has also been open about her sobriety journey.

Kelli Young has continued to perform with Liberty X members Jessica Taylor and Michelle Heaton, and has appeared as a panelist on 'Loose Women'. She is married with twin sons and has a passion for home renovation.

Jessica Taylor married cricketer Kevin Pietersen in 2007 and has focused on a quieter family life alongside her continued gigging. She also participated in 'Dancing on Ice'.

Tony Lundon has found success behind the camera, working as a film and television producer-director and running his own production company. He has worked with artists like Ed Sheeran.

Kevin Simm, after Liberty X disbanded, faced financial difficulties, working various jobs before winning 'The Voice' in 2016. He later joined the band Wet Wet Wet as their lead singer.

Darius Campbell, who auditioned for Popstars but did not make it into Hear'Say, went on to achieve chart success with his single 'Colourblind' after finishing third in 'Pop Idol'. He tragically passed away in August 2022 at the age of 41.
