Police visited the family home of Brian Hickerson, boyfriend of the late Hayden Panettiere, in Greenville, South Carolina, several days after the actress was found dead.
The law enforcement presence occurred at the grandmother's residence of Brian and Zach Hickerson, located approximately five miles from the Judson Mill Lofts apartment complex where Panettiere died. The actress was discovered deceased on Sunday afternoon. Authorities are investigating her death as a suspected overdose.
Police vehicles, including a white SUV with "City of Greenville Police" visible, were observed outside the property. Officers were seen walking on the sidewalk and on the driveway of the residence.
Hickerson has had previous legal entanglements. He was arrested in 2022 on multiple felony charges, including aggravated battery, and domestic violence. Reports indicated that he pleaded not guilty to these charges. In 2023, he was sentenced to serve 15 days in jail and was on probation for four years. A judge had also issued a restraining order against him for the benefit of Panettiere, which has since expired.
