New South Wales Police have launched an investigation into the death of newborn Harmony, the son of reality television personality Pala Negara. Negara, who appeared on "Ex on the Beach: Couples" in 2023, announced the tragic loss on social media in September.
The circumstances surrounding Harmony's birth and death have not been publicly detailed, including why he was born nearly three weeks after his due date. Ms. Negara stated in an interview that she had registered with a local home birth program and felt "really let down with what happened." She also insisted that she and her partner, Chris Hunter, "did everything right."
Ms. Negara and Mr. Hunter, a hairdresser from Byron Bay, shared their grief on Instagram in a series of posts in September. The police investigation is ongoing as the couple grapples with their unfathomable loss.
