Police Investigate Claims of Massage Therapist at Balmoral Linked to Epstein and Prince Andrew
Authorities are examining new information that suggests a woman described as a 'travelling massage therapist' may have been brought to the Royal Family's Scottish estate by Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew.
Police Scotland has launched an investigation into activities at Balmoral Castle involving Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Prince Andrew, following new information that a woman described as a 'travelling massage therapist' was allegedly brought to the estate on Epstein's private jet.
This development comes after previous reports revealed that Epstein flew a model to Balmoral in 1999 to massage Prince Andrew. Now, a victim's FBI interview from 2019 suggests that she and another young woman were also taken to the Scottish retreat. The victim, referred to in documents as Maxwell's 'little sister,' reportedly stated that a woman, whose name is redacted, 'came to Balmoral and Palm Beach a few times.' The interviewee also mentioned meeting Prince Andrew several times without experiencing anything unusual.
Epstein, a financier convicted of sex offenses, was a guest at Balmoral in 1999. His private jet, known as the 'Lolita Express,' reportedly flew into Edinburgh with Prince Andrew and Maxwell aboard in 2006. The Epstein Files, which contain over three million documents, include communications from as late as 2019 where Epstein allegedly instructed victims to visit Balmoral and Windsor.
Emails believed to be from Prince Andrew, released within the Epstein Files, include one from 2001 that reads, 'I am up here at Balmoral Summer Camp for the Royal Family.' The sender, signing off as 'A xxx,' asks, 'Have you found me some new inappropriate friends?'
A photograph previously shown during Maxwell's trial depicted her and Epstein outside a log cabin at the Balmoral estate. In January, it was reported that Prince Andrew allegedly welcomed Epstein, Maxwell, and a 25-year-old model to the castle in 1999 for a picnic. The woman claimed she was asked to massage Prince Andrew during this visit but refused, stating it felt 'weird.'
Police Scotland confirmed that 'active inquiries are ongoing' into the information received, noting that the investigation is in its early stages. The Royal Family traditionally spends summers at Balmoral, where Queen Elizabeth II died in 2022.
At least nine British police forces are reportedly conducting investigations or reviews into potential crimes connected to Epstein and his associates, including Prince Andrew. In February, Prince Andrew was questioned by police on suspicion of misconduct in public office, related to sharing sensitive information from his time as a trade envoy with Epstein. He has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
