Poland Police Receive Intel on Potential Attack on Prime Minister Tusk, Defense Minister
Authorities on high alert amid broader security concerns, with a meeting scheduled at the Counter-Terrorism Centre.

Polish police have received information regarding a potential attack targeting Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, according to an Interior Ministry spokesperson.
The announcement, made Sunday via the social media platform X, indicated that Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński and Tomasz Siemoniak, the minister-coordinator of special services, have ordered an investigation into the matter. A meeting of the Internal Security Agency’s (ABW) Counter-Terrorism Centre was scheduled for Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
This development comes as Poland's authorities have been operating under heightened security protocols. The increased alert follows a series of violent incidents in schools, including the death of a school caretaker on Thursday.
