Podcaster Shawn Ryan, who previously supported Donald Trump and interviewed him, has publicly stated he has changed his mind about the former president. Ryan, a former U.S. Navy SEAL, explained his altered perspective on a joint episode of his show with "The Diary Of A CEO" host Steven Bartlett.
Ryan cited "a multitude of reasons" for his shift in opinion, asserting that Trump has "totally gone against what he said he was going to do." The podcaster also referenced past criticisms of the Trump administration's handling of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender and former associate of Trump.
During the discussion, Ryan and Bartlett, who is British, reflected on Trump's presidency. Bartlett expressed concern over the situation in Iran, describing it as a potential "blunder" and questioning the possibility of a positive outcome.
Ryan echoed this sentiment regarding the ongoing conflict, stating, "At this point I don’t know what’s going on there anymore, nothing seems to make any damn sense to me." He concluded that he does not foresee any positive outcome for America from the current situation.
