A Flydubai flight en route to Tel Aviv from Dubai was diverted to Saudi Arabia after a pilot allegedly stabbed another pilot and attempted to crash the plane, according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The aircraft reportedly plummeted 17,000 feet in less than two minutes before the diversion occurred.
Eyewitness accounts from passengers on board described a chaotic scene. Some passengers shared videos on social media showing moments of distress and calls for help during the incident.
