Piers Morgan accused anti-Trump podcaster Tim Miller of exhibiting "Trump derangement syndrome" after Miller asserted that former President Donald Trump has accomplished "nothing" positive during his time in office. The exchange occurred on "The Bulwark Podcast."

Morgan presented Miller with a challenge to identify a single beneficial action taken by Trump. Miller responded by stating, "Nothing," and further argued that individuals who have worked for Trump and subsequently left his administration, such as John Kelly, James Mattis, and Anthony Scaramucci, all express similar criticisms because they are "saying the truth about him."

Morgan then pressed Miller, asking for one good thing Trump had done. Miller dismissed the premise, calling Trump's presidency a "disaster."

In an attempt to elicit a positive acknowledgment, Morgan cited the Abraham Accords, which normalized diplomatic ties between Israel and several Arab nations during Trump's presidency. Miller acknowledged that the accords were mentioned as a Trump achievement but ultimately described them as a "s--- sandwich," suggesting they had not proven beneficial.

Morgan also raised border security, suggesting that Trump's efforts to curb illegal immigration were positive. He contrasted this with the current situation under President Joe Biden, which he described as having "catastrophic levels." Miller conceded that Biden's border policies were problematic but argued that Trump had obstructed a legislative solution and later implemented policies via executive order that he deemed "un-American."

Another point raised by Morgan was Trump's role in facilitating the release of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. Miller agreed that the release of hostages was a positive outcome but maintained that it did not validate Trump's broader Middle East policy.
