Phillip Schofield, once a fixture of British daytime television, is experiencing a significant financial downturn following his 2023 departure from ITV's "This Morning." His media company, Fistral Productions, reported a mere £7,248 in reserves for its latest financial year, a stark contrast to its previous standing. In its pre-Covid peak, Fistral Productions held over £3 million in assets, and had been accumulating hundreds of thousands of pounds annually.

Schofield, 64, left his co-hosting role on "This Morning" in May 2023 after admitting to an affair with a significantly younger male colleague. Prior to this, he had co-hosted the program for two decades. He publicly came out as gay in February 2020 during a live interview on the show with co-presenter Holly Willoughby.

Records indicate that Fistral Productions, which Schofield controls with his estranged wife Stephanie, 62, dispensed with its only employee in the past year. Meanwhile, another company managed by the couple, Fistral Properties, shows a debt of £96,470, despite a £861,000 investment in property.

Despite his financial reversal, Schofield continues to reside in a six-bedroom property in Chiswick, west London, purchased for £2 million in August 2020, which features electric gates for security. He attempted a television comeback in 2024 with Channel 5's "Cast Away," a ten-day solo survival challenge on an island off Madagascar. During the program, Schofield criticized former colleagues he accused of not supporting him. His wife and daughters, Molly, 33, and Ruby, 30, appeared in the series, with Schofield emphasizing his family's unwavering support. Molly, who previously left her talent agency management role after the affair was revealed, later served as his de facto publicist. However, neither daughter has featured Schofield on their public Instagram accounts in recent years, with Molly's last photo of him dating back to July 2018 and Ruby's only post featuring her father from June 2014. Schofield's own Instagram activity is minimal, and he follows only eight accounts, including Formula 1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris, and actress Dawn French, the sole entertainment figure on his list.
