Philadelphia Pornographer R.C. Horsch Filmed at Least 58 Women; Seven Missing

Authorities have identified at least 58 women in videos recorded by the late Philadelphia pornographer Raymond “R.C.” Horsch, with seven of those women now missing and fears mounting that they may have been murdered and their bodies disposed of with acid.

The FBI and other law enforcement agencies are expanding their investigation into Horsch, who died in May 2025 at age 82, following disturbing discoveries at his home in Olney. These discoveries include videos depicting unconscious or deceased women, as well as vats of unidentified chemicals.

The renewed investigation was prompted by the arrest of Horsch's son, Eugene, on unrelated charges in June. During searches of the Olney property, investigators uncovered alleged snuff films featuring R.C. and several missing women. Writings referencing serial killers and vats of mysterious chemicals were also found.

Of the 58 women identified in the footage, five are feared dead. Two additional women have not been seen for years, according to CBS News Philadelphia.

One newly uncovered video shows a woman being handcuffed to a bed by Horsch after she allegedly used narcotics and received money. Police Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore stated that Horsch then placed a zip tie around the woman’s neck until she lost consciousness. Both women in this video appeared to be unconscious or deceased.

These two unidentified women add to the growing number of potential victims. Previously identified as possibly deceased are Gabrielle Amarando, Maribell Fresses, and Nicole Fusaro. Two other women, Blair Tonzelli and Horsch's ex-wife Amy McHale, are still considered missing.

Horsch, who reportedly described himself as a “sociopath,” was known to target women struggling with drug addiction in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood, luring them to his home to film pornography. He also publicly claimed on podcasts and in his writings to be a serial killer.

Eugene Horsch, 44, was arrested in June on charges including gun possession as a convicted felon, possession of guns without serial numbers, and fraudulent DEA identification. A woman found with Eugene at the time of his arrest was in possession of an ID belonging to Blair Tonzelli, one of the missing women.

This led authorities to a more extensive search of the Olney house, yielding over 600,000 images, 70,000 videos, and 10,000 pages of documents. Many of these materials contained references to serial killers like Ted Bundy and methods for disposing of bodies.

While no human remains have been discovered, investigators found industrial vats containing a mysterious liquid, more than 20 containers of an oily substance, and a 55-gallon drum connected to the basement’s water lines. Fake DEA and FBI badges, fraudulent identification, narcotics, a death certificate, and five urns with cremated remains were also recovered.

The FBI is increasing its involvement, preparing to execute more search warrants at the property. Special Agent in Charge Wayne Jacobs emphasized the need for thoroughness to identify victims, determine events, and provide answers to families.

Eugene Horsch has not been charged in connection with any deaths as the investigation continues.
