Philadelphia Home Searched Again in Connection with Missing Women Case

Federal investigators and Philadelphia police have returned to the home of the late Raymond "R.C." Horsch to execute a new search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation into multiple missing women.

Authorities were seen at the property on Chew Avenue in the Olney neighborhood on Monday. This marks the third time the FBI has revisited the home as part of the probe. Investigators have linked seven missing women to the property, with at least five believed to be dead. In June, chemicals, ammunition, and drugs were discovered inside the home, leading to the arrest of R.C. Horsch's son, Eugene Horsch, 44, on charges including unlawful firearms possession and forgery.

During the June investigation, law enforcement recovered over one million digital evidence items, including photos and videos, from the residence. Authorities are working to determine the content of this evidence, particularly as R.C. Horsch was known for producing violently themed pornography and books. He died last year.

Police have informed neighbors about the increased law enforcement activity, acknowledging the disruption it may cause. Councilmember Anthony Phillips stated that the aim of community meetings was to ensure neighbors understood the ongoing nature of the investigation and to provide support and resources.

Eugene Horsch remains in custody on several charges. The investigation continues as authorities sift through the evidence recovered from the property.
