Amy Mickelson, wife of professional golfer Phil Mickelson, has stated her support for her husband amidst allegations of sexual misconduct. A spokeswoman for Mickelson confirmed in a statement to the Daily Mail that Amy Mickelson is standing by her husband with "extraordinary grace" and "unwavering love."

The statement added that the couple believes individuals "are measured not only by their failures, but by what they do to make them right." Phil Mickelson, 56, is facing allegations that include showing a naked photograph of himself to Ashley Perez, the ex-wife of golfer Pat Perez, during a tournament in 2015. Perez claims the incident occurred at his villa at Liberty National Golf Course in New Jersey during the Barclays tournament that year.

According to a report by golf writer Alan Shipnuck, Ashley Perez told the publication that Mickelson allegedly showed her a full-body image of himself naked and aroused on his phone. She also stated that Mickelson invited her to his room later that night, an advance she declined. Perez eventually confronted Mickelson, who reportedly issued an apology during a corporate event.

Phil and Amy Mickelson have been married for nearly 30 years, having wed in November 1996. They have three children: Evan, Sophie, and Amanda. The spokeswoman for Mickelson indicated that some of the claims are false, while others refer to past mistakes that Mickelson has already addressed.

The statement also noted that Phil Mickelson's current priority is his family and a "private family health matter." It concluded by emphasizing that while parts of his life are public, his family's private matters remain confidential. "Mr. Mickelson's priority is to become the husband, father, and man his family deserves," the statement read.
