Pete Doherty's Son Launches Foul-Mouthed Social Media Rant

Astile Doherty, the 23-year-old son of musician Pete Doherty, posted an aggressive message on social media Sunday night, expressing a wish for the recipient to die of a painful disease. The post, which did not specify a target, included wishes for a "painful terminal disease like AIDS or cancer" and was laden with expletives directed at the unknown individual and their loved ones.

Astile is the son of Pete Doherty and singer Lisa Moorish. His parents had a brief relationship in 2002, resulting in Astile's birth the following year. Pete Doherty has previously struggled with drug addiction, which at one point led to him being banned from seeing his son. However, after undergoing rehabilitation, reports indicated he became a more involved father.

Astile has pursued a career in music and poetry, similar to his parents. In January 2024, he performed as a barman in a Liam Gallagher tribute act, known as 'Liam On Sea,' in Essex. This performance drew attention as Astile's half-sister, Molly Moorish, is the daughter of Liam Gallagher. Astile later addressed the situation, stating that his sister's relationship with her father was her business and that he had not seen Gallagher in over four years.

He has expressed a desire to focus on his own career, viewing the tribute act as a "stepping stone." Astile also stated that discussions about his mother's past relationships with Liam Gallagher and Pete Doherty should be considered in the past.
