Pete Davidson has undergone a striking transformation for his role as mob enforcer Tommy Pitera in the upcoming mafia killer biopic, "Tommy Karate." The "Saturday Night Live" star was photographed for the first time on set in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, sporting a floppy hairstyle with curtain bangs, a significant departure from his usual appearance.

Davidson, 32, was seen in action shots, wearing a black leather jacket and white t-shirt while throwing a punch. Later, he was observed with a black vest top and grey tracksuit bottoms, with fake blood applied to his face.

The film, directed by Justin Chon, is based on Philip Carlo's true crime book "The Butcher: Anatomy Of A Mafia Psychopath." It chronicles DEA Agent Jim Hunt's pursuit and capture of Tommy Pitera, who earned the nickname "Tommy Karate" for his use of martial arts. Prosecutors have described Pitera as a "ruthless killer," alleging he dismembered bodies and buried them in Staten Island.

Davidson is set to star alongside Paul Walter Hauser as DEA Agent Jim Hunt, as well as Louis Cancelmi, Camila Mendes, and Simon Rex.

In March, Davidson expressed his enthusiasm for the role, telling Deadline, "'Tommy Karate' is the greatest mob story never told. I’ve been working on this for over three years, and I’m beyond thrilled that it’s finally in motion. Playing a role like this is a dream job. We have a great team behind this one, and I can’t wait for people to see what we’ve come up with."

In recent personal news, Davidson was reportedly seen with 22-year-old reality star Sarah Jane Nader. Additionally, it was revealed that Davidson and his ex-girlfriend Elsie Hewitt have reached a co-parenting agreement for their daughter, Scottie Rose, born in December. The two stars released a joint statement confirming their commitment to cooperatively raising their child.
