Perez Hilton has lowered the price of his Las Vegas home by $350,000 while he continues to recover in the hospital after a suicide attempt in August. The property is now listed for $3.9 million, down from its original asking price of $4.25 million.
The entertainment blogger, whose birth name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., put the nearly six-bedroom house on the market after relocating with his three children—Mario III, Mia, and Mayte—from Nevada to Miami, Florida, in June. At the time of the move, Hilton described the 7,000-square-foot property as a "sanctuary and oasis in the desert" that had "served [him] well personally and professionally."
He cited family as the primary reason for the relocation, stating that Miami has "always been [his] home," despite not having lived there for 30 years. However, by July, Hilton reportedly expressed feelings of anxiety and being "overwhelmed" by the decision.
In a video shared with his YouTube subscribers, Hilton disclosed that he had been "off the wagon in every sense" and experiencing "a bit of a spiral." Weeks later, he was hospitalized after an incident at his Miami home, which involved a TikTok livestream and an overdose, resulting in multiple lacerations. His brother-in-law later shared that Hilton had suffered broken bones during the event.
