Perez Hilton, the 48-year-old celebrity blogger, has decreased the asking price of his Las Vegas home by $350,000, according to TMZ. This move comes amid reports of financial difficulties and while Hilton remains hospitalized following a livestream incident in August.
The six-bedroom property, located on Olive Creek Court in the exclusive Prado community, was initially listed for $4.25 million. It has now been reduced to $3.9 million. Hilton had previously stated his intention to leave Las Vegas, where he had lived for two and a half years, to focus on his health with his family in Miami.
The mansion features six en-suite bedrooms, a detached casita, a multigenerational suite, and a resort-style backyard. Hilton told the Daily Mail in July that the home had served him well both personally and professionally.
Hilton, born Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., has been hospitalized since August 4. The hospitalization followed a TikTok livestream that appeared to show him with a large knife and covered in blood inside his Miami home. During this incident, he reportedly suffered multiple broken bones after falling. Doctors also identified other unrelated medical issues stemming from a previous battle with sepsis.
Prior to the livestream event, Hilton was reportedly experiencing financial difficulties and struggling to secure new work projects. Earlier in the year, he spent 21 days in the hospital after falling seriously ill with sepsis, a condition he attributed to taking flu medication on an empty stomach. This health crisis required two surgeries and left him strapped for cash, prompting him to launch a line of religious-themed clothing.
During the August incident, Hilton's sister discovered him in his Miami home and removed his three children—Mario, 13, Mia, 11, and Mayte, eight—from the premises. Police reports indicate Hilton then locked himself inside, inflicted lacerations upon himself, and experienced an overdose. He was treated for significant blood loss and other injuries.
Following the incident, Hilton's mother filed for temporary legal custody of the children. TikTok has since removed the livestream video and suspended Hilton's account.
