Perez Hilton has reduced the asking price of his Las Vegas mansion by $350,000, lowering it from $4.25 million to $3.9 million. The blogger, who is currently hospitalized after a livestreamed self-harm incident last month, is reportedly facing significant financial struggles.
The six-bedroom, 6,600-square-foot home in the gated Prado community has been on the market since June, with no buyer yet secured. The property features six en-suite bedrooms, a detached casita, a multigenerational suite, and an outdoor entertainment area. Hilton had previously used the home to raise his three children and for professional endeavors, including documentary work.
Sources suggest that Hilton was experiencing financial difficulties even before his recent hospitalization. Despite pitching several reality show concepts, he has been unable to secure new television deals. He had listed the home in June when he relocated with his children to Miami, stating a desire to focus on his health and be with his family in his hometown.
Earlier this year, Hilton spent three weeks in the hospital battling sepsis, which required two surgeries to treat complications including fluid in his lungs, a blood clot, kidney problems, and heart arrhythmia. He has stated that this ordeal significantly depleted his savings, prompting him to launch a religious-themed clothing line to improve his financial situation.
The financial strain reportedly intensified following his hospitalization. Hilton has publicly mentioned the high cost of his medical bills, even with insurance, and his need to "hustle." The situation escalated on August 4, when a TikTok livestream depicted Hilton with injuries inside his Miami home. His sister intervened, and police reported that Hilton pursued his children into the street as she drove them to safety. He subsequently received treatment for lacerations, an overdose, and significant blood loss. Doctors also identified complications stemming from his earlier sepsis treatment.
Hilton has not seen his children since the August incident, and his mother has filed for temporary custody. TikTok has removed the video and suspended his account.
