Dispatch audio from a 911 call on Tuesday night revealed details of a reported suicide attempt involving gossip blogger Perez Hilton. The 48-year-old was transported to a local hospital in Miami for medical attention after authorities responded to his residence.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement was dispatched following multiple calls from individuals concerned about a person livestreaming acts of self-harm on social media. The 911 audio, reported at 10:41 p.m., indicated a "suicide attempt" at Hilton's address. "Multiple units responded around 11 p.m. to make entry into the house with police officers," the audio revealed, and police remained at the residence for several hours.

A statement from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the individual was "safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention." The statement also noted that the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Crisis Response Unit and licensed mental health professionals were on scene to provide support to the individual's family.

Representatives for Hilton acknowledged being aware of "concerning content circulating online" involving their client, but stated they had not yet been able to make direct contact. "Our primary concern is Perez’s health and well-being, as well as the well-being of his family," the representatives said in a statement. "Until we have confirmed information, we will not speculate or comment further."

Hilton, whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., is a father of three. He was reportedly alone in the house at the time of the incident.
