A 58-year-old Pennsylvania woman has been charged with making terroristic threats and harassment after allegedly threatening her neighbor with a pitchfork and invoking the character Freddy Krueger.

Susan Shea was arrested after a neighbor reported her for harassment and threats. According to a criminal complaint, the neighbor told police that Shea was demanding compensation for her chickens and had threatened to burn down his house and his son's house with the families inside. The neighbor also reported that Shea threatened to impale him with the pitchfork if he approached her.

The neighbor filmed the incident, providing police with a video that reportedly shows Shea dragging a pitchfork and shouting, "You guys are going to have nightmares of my face. I'm the new Freddy Krueger." Police noted that Freddy Krueger is a fictional serial killer from the "Nightmare on Elm Street" film series.

In addition to threatening the neighbor and his family, Shea allegedly threatened to kill the neighbor's son's dog. It is unclear what the dispute over the chickens entailed or its resolution.

Authorities reported that Shea was observed "dancing with a pitchfork" and yelling at the neighbor from the road upon their arrival. The incident occurred in Otter Creek Township, approximately 75 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Shea is reportedly on probation for a 2023 conviction that included charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct. She is scheduled to appear before a district magistrate this month to address the new charges, which include misdemeanor counts of making terroristic threats and harassment, as well as summary charges of disorderly conduct and harassment.
