A Pennsylvania school bus aide has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, corruption of minors, and indecent assault after allegedly inappropriately touching a 14-year-old special needs student and filming her on a bus. Ali Khan, 62, was taken into custody by Bensalem Township Police and is being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility on $500,000 bail.

The incident came to light when the girl's parents contacted police on Thursday, July 30, to report the alleged assault. Investigators reviewed surveillance footage from the bus, which investigators said showed Khan directing the Bensalem High School student to a specific seat. The footage appeared to capture Khan inappropriately touching the girl while securing her seatbelt and after she was seated. Police also stated the footage indicated Khan engaged in sexual conduct and used his cellphone to photograph or record the student.

Bensalem Township Police commended the victim for coming forward and thanked the Bensalem School District for its assistance. The district confirmed that Khan was immediately removed from service and from the district pending the outcome of criminal and administrative investigations. The district reiterated its commitment to student safety and cooperation with law enforcement.

Khan's preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 11, 2026. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
