Rick Harrison, the 61-year-old star of the reality series "Pawn Stars," recently underwent emergency bypass surgery. A spokesperson for his family confirmed to TMZ on Friday that the procedure was necessitated after doctors identified a more serious heart condition during a routine stent operation.
The surgery was successful, and Harrison is reportedly resting comfortably while working toward a full recovery. His family representative stated that Harrison is grateful for the care he received from the hospital's medical staff.
His wife, 42-year-old Angie Polushkin, was by his side during the process. The couple married in January in a ceremony officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. They announced their engagement in March 2025, with Harrison proposing during a trip to Chile. Polushkin, a nurse in Las Vegas, was the recipient of a 6.5-carat engagement ring. The couple celebrated their union with friends and family at Harrison's restaurant, Rick's Rollin Smoke BBQ & Tavern.
Harrison has been married four times previously. His ex-wives include Tracy Harrison, with whom he has a son named Jake; Kim Harrison, mother of his sons Corey and the late Adam; Deanna Burditt, from whom he divorced in 2020; and Amanda Palmer, his wife from 2021 to 2023. His late son Adam died in 2024 at the age of 39 due to accidental fentanyl and methamphetamine toxicity. Harrison also experienced the deaths of his mother, Joanne Harrison, in November 2025 at age 85, and his father, Richard Harrison, from Parkinson's disease in June 2018 at age 77.
