Rick Harrison, star of the reality series "Pawn Stars," has been released from the hospital days after undergoing emergency bypass surgery. A spokesperson for Harrison's family confirmed to TMZ on Monday that the 61-year-old is now resting at home and "doing great."
According to family representatives, Harrison initially sought treatment for a routine stent procedure. During the examination, doctors discovered a more serious issue that necessitated bypass surgery. The procedure was reportedly successful, and Harrison is now focused on a full recovery.
Harrison expressed gratitude for the care he received from the hospital staff. His wife, Angie Polushkin, 42, was by his side during his hospital stay.
The couple married in January, with an Elvis Presley impersonator officiating their wedding at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. In a joint statement to People at the time, they shared their excitement to begin their next chapter as husband and wife.
Harrison, a businessman and reality television personality based in Las Vegas, proposed to Polushkin, a nurse, with a 6.5-carat ring in March 2025. This marriage is Harrison's fifth.
His previous marriages include unions with Tracy Harrison, Kim Harrison, Deanna Burditt, and Amanda Palmer. Harrison has four sons: Jake, Corey, and the late Adam, who died in 2024 at the age of 39 due to accidental fentanyl and methamphetamine toxicity. His mother, Joanne Harrison, passed away in November 2025 at 85, and his father, Richard Harrison, died in June 2018 at 77 from Parkinson's disease.
