Supermodel Paulina Porizkova married comedy writer Jeff Greenstein on July 3 in Italy, opting for a custom wedding dress that was not white. The couple exchanged vows at Villa Crespi in Orta San Giulio.

Porizkova, 61, collaborated with the New York couture atelier House of Gilles for her gown, which she described as a color that is "beyond color" and "ineffable and elusive." She explained to Vogue that the choice to avoid traditional bridal white was influenced by her extensive career modeling wedding gowns. Having appeared on the cover of Brides magazine multiple times and fronted Estée Lauder’s Beautiful fragrance campaign in bridal attire during her 1980s modeling career, Porizkova sought a more personal and unique option for her own ceremony.

She cited Grace Kelly's blue gown in "To Catch a Thief" and Lauren Hutton's attire at the 1975 Oscars as inspirations for the dress's color. The final design was described as form-fitting yet diaphanous, flowing "like water," a characteristic Porizkova had requested from the designers. One attendee at the reception described the dress's color as one glimpsed while taking recreational ketamine, likening it to "the color of element."

Porizkova's accessories included a veil and a fabric flower in her hair, both by House of Gilles, and teardrop earrings gifted by her sons. Greenstein, 63, wore a custom blue wool suit tailored for his 6-foot-7 frame.

This marriage is the second for both Porizkova and Greenstein. Porizkova was previously married to Cars frontman Ric Ocasek from 1989 until their separation in 2018; Ocasek died in 2019. Porizkova and Greenstein, who met on a dating app in 2023, became engaged in the Czech Republic in July 2025.
