Paul Rudd Visits Toy Shop Amid Kelly Clarkson Feud

Actor Paul Rudd was seen passing by Art of Play, a New York City toy shop that recently became embroiled in an online feud with singer Kelly Clarkson. Rudd, 57, appeared to be on a solo walk through Brooklyn on Wednesday, nearly two weeks after Clarkson publicly criticized the store for an alleged unpleasant interaction.

Clarkson had claimed that a salesperson at Art of Play judged her for inquiring about a mechanical singing bird, priced at $15,000, implying she could not afford it. The incident led Clarkson to share her experience on X, formerly Twitter, comparing the treatment to a scene from the movie "Pretty Woman."

The shop, Art of Play, responded by stating the bird in question was permanently attached to the wall and not for sale. Clarkson countered this, posting a photo of the bird with its price tag. The store later claimed they had offered an identical automaton and subsequently increased the price of the bird to $15 million in a social media post.

Rudd, known for his seemingly ageless appearance, was observed looking into the shop's window from the street but did not appear to enter. He was dressed casually in a black hoodie, t-shirt, and light gray slacks, with glasses featuring a clear green frame. The actor continued his walk after pausing near the boutique.

The online dispute between Clarkson and Art of Play has garnered significant attention, with many online users and celebrities voicing their opinions and taking sides. Clarkson has since moved on, performing in Las Vegas last week.
