Paul Ferris, a former gangland enforcer and author, has died at the age of 62. Ferris passed away yesterday at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow following a short illness, after being admitted two days prior.
Ferris, a notorious figure in the underworld, authored books detailing his experiences. His life was the subject of the 2013 film "The Wee Man," in which actor Martin Compston portrayed him.
