Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio, a star of the reality television series "Jersey Shore," has become engaged to his girlfriend, Nikki Hall. The proposal took place over the weekend during DelVecchio's DJ set at OMNIA Dayclub in Las Vegas.
Hall, 34, accepted the proposal from DelVecchio, 46, who knelt and presented a ring onstage. Video of the moment was shared on the club's Instagram account. Hall subsequently posted photos of the engagement on her own Instagram, stating that they had spent their years together "choosing each other, growing together, building a life we love, and never rushing a chapter just because the world was ready to read it." She described the proposal as "The easiest YES I’ve ever said."
DelVecchio commented on Hall's post with "She said yesssssss!!!!!" Several of DelVecchio's "Jersey Shore" castmates offered congratulations in the comments, including Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Lauren Sorrentino, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, and Jenni "JWoww" Farley.
The couple first met in 2019 on the MTV dating series "Double Shot at Love," which featured 20 women competing for the affections of DelVecchio and co-star Vinny Guadagnino. DelVecchio and Hall began dating in 2020.
In a 2021 interview with Page Six, DelVecchio stated that while they were "enjoying each other’s company right now," they were open to the idea of an engagement. "Who knows what the future holds? We’re just taking it day by day. We have nothing set in stone," he said at the time.
DelVecchio also shared in 2023 how well Hall had integrated with his daughter, Amabella Sophia Markert, whom he has with ex Amanda Markert. He told People that Hall and Amabella "love each other" and that they FaceTime frequently.
