Patrick Clancy, the former husband of Lindsay Clancy, has spoken for the first time since his ex-wife’s mistrial in the case of their children’s deaths. In an interview clip aired Thursday, he revealed that he still speaks to his three deceased children, Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and eight-month-old Callan, asking them for help to cope with his pain.

"I talk to them," Clancy told CBS correspondent Ross Douthat. When asked what he says to them, he responded, "‘Help me.’ All the time."

Lindsay Clancy admitted to strangling the couple’s children in January 2023 at their Duxbury, Massachusetts, home. Her trial for murder garnered significant national attention, concluding with an 11-1 hung jury. Clancy's defense team argued that she was suffering from postpartum depression and therefore could not be held criminally responsible for her actions.
