Rachel Danis, the fertility doctor wife of Patrick Clancy, has shared the poignant way she learned of the tragic deaths of his three children. Danis recounted in a "60 Minutes" interview that she saw a photo of Clancy's deceased children as his phone's wallpaper during their first date in January 2024. A year prior, Clancy's ex-wife, Lindsay Clancy, killed their children, Cora, Dawson, and Callan.

Danis, 37, met Patrick Clancy, 36, at a New York City run club. During their first coffee date following their meeting, Clancy pulled out his phone to pay, revealing a picture of his children. When Danis inquired about the children, asking, "Who are those cuties?", Patrick responded, "Those are my kids." The conversation then took a somber turn when Danis asked if they lived in Massachusetts, and Patrick stated, "They died."

Danis described the moment as leaving her with many questions, but she was unsure how to proceed. She stated her desire to help Patrick bear some of the emotional weight he carries. "I can't bring his kids back," Danis said, "but I hoped to help Patrick rebuild his family and find peace after the tragedy of his children's deaths."

The couple, who married in April, are reportedly starting a family, though Danis did not confirm if they are currently expecting. Patrick Clancy expressed his intention to one day tell his future child about their older siblings, Cora, Dawson, and Callan.

Patrick Clancy also detailed the horrifying discovery in January 2023 when he returned home to find his ex-wife, Lindsay, injured in the backyard. He subsequently found their children in the basement, having been strangled by Lindsay. Cora and Dawson were pronounced dead at the scene, while infant Callan was rushed to the hospital and died four days later, holding his father's hand.

Lindsay Clancy's murder trial recently concluded in a mistrial, with the jury deadlocked. Patrick Clancy has spoken about his own struggles with suicidal thoughts following the deaths of his children and stated that he had forgiven his ex-wife. He recalled Lindsay's struggles with sleep deprivation and severe depression in the months leading up to the tragedy, noting her hospitalization in December 2022 and subsequent admission to an inpatient program.
