Patrick Clancy's Pregnant New Wife Spotted in NYC
Rachel Danis, fertility specialist and wife of Patrick Clancy, was seen in New York City with an apparent baby bump, months after the couple announced their plans to start a family.
Rachel Danis, the pregnant wife of Patrick Clancy, was seen in New York City on Wednesday, appearing with a baby bump for the first time since the couple announced they are expecting. Danis, a 37-year-old fertility specialist, was spotted riding a Citi Bike on the Upper East Side.
Danis and Patrick Clancy announced their plans to have children in an interview earlier this month. In the same interview, they stated their excitement about telling their future children about Clancy's three deceased older siblings. Ross Douthat, the interviewer, later confirmed that Danis is pregnant.
Danis, a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, stated she met Clancy while running in Central Park. The couple married in April, just months before Lindsay Clancy's high-profile trial began. Lindsay Clancy, Patrick's ex-wife, was accused of strangling their three children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, in their Duxbury, Massachusetts home in February 2023 while Patrick Clancy was away.
During her trial, Lindsay Clancy's defense argued she was not criminally responsible due to temporary insanity caused by postpartum psychosis. The trial ended in a mistrial on September 4.
