Patrick Clancy's New Wife Shares How They Met Ahead of '60 Minutes' Interview

Patrick Clancy’s new wife, Rachel Danis, has shared details about how she first met the grieving father. The infertility specialist revealed their romance began when she encountered Clancy jogging in Central Park, a meeting that has drawn public attention following his ex-wife’s murder trial.

Danis, who married Patrick Clancy in April, spoke alongside her husband in their first interview since the conclusion of Lindsay Clancy's trial, which ended in a hung jury. “I was just a girl that met a guy running in Central Park on a really cold Saturday,” Danis said in a preview clip for their upcoming appearance on “60 Minutes.” She addressed criticism they have faced from online commentators, stating, “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.” The full interview is scheduled to air on Sunday evening.

Patrick Clancy relocated to Manhattan after discovering his three young children—Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and Callan, 8 months—had been killed in their Massachusetts home in January 2023. His ex-wife, Lindsay Clancy, was accused of their deaths.

Danis, 37, works as a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at a New York City-based clinic. Social media posts document the couple's relationship, including their attendance at a Barry's workout class and a joint appearance at the NYC Marathon in November 2025. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park, followed by a reception at the nearby Sarabeth's restaurant.
