Patrick Clancy, in his first public interview since his ex-wife Lindsay Clancy's murder trial ended in a mistrial, described her state of mind in the immediate aftermath of their three children's deaths. Lindsay Clancy compared the killings to "a dream," he told CBS's "60 Minutes" in an interview that aired Sunday night.

"I asked her if she remembered it," Patrick Clancy recounted. "She said it was like a dream. And — she remembered it much in the way you would remember a dream after waking up."

The interview marks the first time Clancy has spoken publicly since the January 2023 deaths of their children: 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan. The murder trial for Lindsay Clancy concluded with an 11-1 mistrial.

Patrick Clancy has faced threats and what his legal team described as a "relentless, escalating and destructive defamation campaign" in the months leading up to the trial's outcome. He has since remarried in April to Rachel Danis, an infertility specialist. The couple shared during the interview that they are planning to start a family and intend to tell their future children about Cora, Dawson, and Callan.
