Pat McAfee Describes Taylor Swift and Tom Cruise's 'Into It' Experience in Chiefs Suite

ESPN host Pat McAfee offered an inside look at a luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium during a recent Kansas City Chiefs game, describing the experience as "fantastic" and the "most ‘into it’ suite" he has ever witnessed. The suite included Taylor Swift, Tom Cruise, and Swift's mother, Andrea Swift.

McAfee, speaking on his show, noted Swift's intense engagement with the game, stating that she was "all in" and watched "every snap" as the Chiefs played the Denver Broncos. Swift, whose husband Travis Kelce is a player for the Chiefs, was attending her first game since marrying Kelce in July.

Swift reportedly wore a checked polo dress and her signature red lipstick to the game. Her mother, Andrea Swift, was also present and provided candied bacon for the suite.

McAfee recounted Swift's warm reception, describing her as "kind" and "hospitable" after she took a selfie with him. He also mentioned a moment where he hugged Swift after greeting Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, and humorously noted that he might have "sweat[ed] all over" Swift due to the warm weather.

The sports analyst also commented on Tom Cruise's composure, remarking on the actor's lack of visible sweat despite wearing a leather jacket. "He … didn’t have a single drop or bead of sweat anywhere," McAfee said, referring to Cruise as "the movie star."

Swift herself was a frequent subject of the game's broadcast. Reports have emerged from lip readers attempting to decipher conversations between Swift and Cruise, with one suggesting Swift commented on the "infrastructure of the entire audience." Another lip reader debunked a viral moment, asserting that Swift was not telling the cameras to stop showing her, but rather reacting to the game, exclaiming, "Oh he’s open, oh he’s open, get off of him."
