The third season of Taylor Sheridan's espionage thriller "Lioness" is set to premiere on Paramount+ on Sunday, August 4, at 3:01 a.m. ET. The upcoming season promises "its most dangerous mission to date," as the "Lioness" team confronts "hidden networks, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals."
The series, which stars Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Kelly, among others, will consist of eight episodes. New installments will be released Sunday mornings on the streaming platform, with the season finale scheduled for September 20.
For viewers looking to catch up, Paramount+ has made a 24-minute recap video available on its YouTube page. The previous season's finale aired in December 2024.
"Lioness" streams exclusively on Paramount+. The service offers two subscription tiers: Essential, at $8.99 per month with ads, and Premium, at $13.99 per month, which is ad-free and includes Showtime titles and live CBS programming. While Paramount+ does not directly offer a free trial, the service can be added to a Hulu account with a Showtime bundle, which may include a free trial for eligible subscribers. It can also be accessed through Amazon Prime Video with an additional monthly fee.
